DWARF Draco

A 90 mm, 340 mm focal-length smart telescope built for longer-exposure deep-sky imaging.

Why consider the DWARF Draco?

Draco is DWARFLAB’s larger smart telescope, pairing a 90 mm aperture with built-in guiding, equatorial operation and exposures of up to 300 seconds. It is aimed at users who want greater light gathering and image scale without assembling a traditional multi-part rig.

90 mm aperture

The larger aperture gathers substantially more light than the compact DWARF models, helping with faint deep-sky targets.

Built-in guiding

An integrated monochrome guide camera supports accurate tracking during exposures of up to 300 seconds.

Equatorial support included

The metal base, frame and included tripod are designed to form a stable equatorial setup guided by the app.

Standard and SHO editions

Both editions support Hα and O III imaging; the SHO edition adds an S II and O III filter for automated SHO data capture.

Things to consider

  • At about 5.5 kg, Draco is transportable but substantially larger and heavier than DWARF Mini or DWARF 3.
  • Long exposures depend on careful, stable equatorial setup and suitable local conditions.
  • Standard and SHO editions have different filter arrangements, so check which version suits the targets you want to image.
