DWARF 3

A portable 35 mm all-in-one smart telescope with dual cameras and a Sony IMX678 sensor.

Why consider the DWARF 3?

DWARF 3 is a compact all-in-one telescope for automated deep-sky, solar, lunar, panoramic and nature imaging. It balances portability with a larger sensor and aperture than DWARF Mini.

Portable all-in-one design

The telescope weighs about 1.35 kg and combines optics, cameras, tracking, filters and processing in one compact body.

Sony IMX678 sensor

The 8.3-megapixel telephoto camera uses a 1/1.8-inch Sony STARVIS 2 sensor with 2.0 μm pixels.

Automated capture

The app can locate a target, autofocus, track it and build the image through live stacking.

Multiple imaging modes

Deep-sky, solar, lunar, panorama and object-tracking modes make it useful beyond a single type of target.

Things to consider

  • Its 150 mm focal length produces a wide field of view; very small targets will occupy less of the frame.
  • A stable tripod or equatorial support is important for long exposures and repeatable results.
  • The automated output is convenient, while advanced users may still prefer to export and process the source data themselves.
